My commissions have dried up and I agree that everyone is still sitting tight until this recession is over, which actually makes it last longer!!!! Go figure!?

I know right!? Not many people have figured that out yet. You spend money, you help melt down the recession. However you spend it. Usually at stores. Or artists that create hot women lol.

I understand that some things ARE more important than others and I understand a piece of art isn't high on the priority list especially if you're a no name like myself. BUT... I don't know... it's a constant circle, this topic.

well right now I'm dog sitting two dogs and praying I have no troubles with my asshole neighbor like I did earlier this week.

Yeah and not all of us are broke, there are lucky so and so's who have plenty of cash to spend on our sexy ladeez!!!

Yeah, I had big plans for tonight, but I've got a nasty head cold. I'm probably just going to 'chill' at home and watch the fireworks.

I live in an apartment on a hill, so I have a GREAT view, at least.

I'll cut to the chase of this one. It takes so long to describe everything. Little after 9 pm three nights ago, he storms up to the door and starts bitching at my family because he was outside in his backyard and one of my dogs jumped on the fence and scared him. He was so drunk you could smell it off him from 5 feet away. My family apologized for the situation that supposedly occured. When we asked which dog did it, he said "You have two?" And since lilly my pitbull was sitting at the window he could see, he said That one! You have a dangerous dog and it should be killed. You should kill it right now.

Well that pissed my family off and I came up hearing everyone yelling at one another after he left. He didn't remember at what time it was this happened. He said he was at the fence looking at his flowers (at 9 at night?) and the dog jumped on the fence and barked.

So the next morning we were stretching new fencing 4 feet away from HIS fence to insure that our dogs wouldn't get over there. I hurt my back doing it.

He called the humane society and told them that my pitbull charged the fence and almost broke through and killed him. The lady showed up I went out to talk to her because my family was so upset. So I'm talking to her, I showed her his fence and how it's RESTING on two trees that are proping it up. He's been told it needs to be replaced and he said it's not his problem. I showed her what steps we took to insure this wouldn't happen again and that we're working at putting up a permanent fence (6 feet tall) to make sure this doesn't happen again and killing off that 4 foot by 90 foot section of land.

I also told her about that his story changed between the time he came over and bitched my family out, to the time he made his call. And that my dog who actually jumped on the fence, was a 5 month old husky that is dumb as a doornail. Not to mention there's someone in my family outside with the dogs minus maybe a 5 minute period because you cannot leave a pitbull unattended outdoors for more than 15 minutes. Even in our backyard.

She said that she did some research on our pitbull and noticed that it went through the breed ambassador program so it isn't a threat, as proven to the city of Omaha and state of Nebraska. So hearing that it just attacked unprovoked was odd. I said it didn't attack him, nor would it unless he was harming one of us, or my rather inept husky.

Furthermore I explained to her that he has some workers that bring their kid and a rat terrier to do yard work with and the kid teases my dogs constantly and has been told many times to not do it. So teasing my dog, having HIS dog run up and down hitting the fence barking to get through the fence and do whatever with my dog doesn't help matters any. The mere fact that happens makes my dogs unsure of what's going on on the otherside of that fence. So they will be curious. It's a known creature of habit, a dog. Humans too.

So after we talked about what I had been doing to circumvent any other problems, his being drunk outdoors, lying about his name to the humane society when he called them, not to mention lying about the reason for his call... his bullshit backfired on him. Oh and... history time... when my buddy Riley was still alive there was one time a tree that is on this guys property (he wasn't living in the house when this happened, it belonged to his father in-law who lived there) busted down his precious fence and my dog got into his backyard. There were no flowers, at that time, where he claims this 'almost attack' happened. I may have to recon some night and find out for myself.

After he told my family to kill our dog... compared to me, they're the ones that AREN'T pissed off and I'll be handling any communication with the guy if he shows up again.

And it won't be the dogs he has to worry about, it'll be the owner. I won't hurt him, but he'll be well advised NOT to fuck with me, my family or my dogs ever again. Failure to comply will result in a very long, drawn out... battle of wills in the court system. And I may own his children's childrens souls by the end of it.

LMAO nah, they just want to spend it on the three women they are having an affair with behind their wive's backs. Oh yes, I went there.

I can't believe you actually had to speak to the humane society at all.

I would watch this guy... it won't take much to get drunk and take a few shots at the dogs. I had neighbors who did that with our dogs once (granted they ran a meth lab and lacked basic human compassion).

That's too bad, really. Your home is supposed to be a relaxing and safe place.
